Asking for help and finding new ways to calm and cope can lead to a path towards wellness. Life can become too overwhelming and stressful sometimes. Psychotherapy is an excellent tool to help calm the chaos, and take stock of what is truly important in our lives.  Allow yourself the time to focus on changing your mindset, relational patterns, or life trajectory.

We all have the ability to heal ourselves if we take time to truly understand our own particular issues and patterns of relating to people and our world around us. As a psychologist, it is my role to provide a safe non-judgmental space for you to do this. I work as a team with my clients to help them understand their issues and patterns and discover their strengths in order to achieve their personal therapy goals. Each person’s reasons and goals for therapy are unique to them.  Therapeutic strategies used truly depend upon the individual – their issues, their motivation to change, & their desire to work.

Finding the right fit with a therapist is an integral aspect to therapy. The most important tool I use in psychotherapy is genuine individual connection. Helping people through difficult emotional pain and transitions is a intimate process and a special privilege. I respect & honor this privilege and want to make sure we are a good fit. A good fit between a therapist and client can make all the difference in whether change can be accomplished by the client. I work hard to achieve this through empathic listening, genuine connection & ethical treatment. I encourage you to talk to more than one therapist to see how the rapport is between you, and if you feel a therapeutic connection. I am happy to take your call for a free phone consultation.

*Covid-19 Statement– At present, I am offering telehealth services. Therapy services are available on a secure, encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Face-to-face appointments will be provided on a case-by-case basis when clinical issues demand and safety protocols can be strictly followed.
